Opportunity:

Saucery is a product of Cassette’s very own founder – Charlie – and his passion for good health. Unhappy with the plethora of fast-food options, Charlie’s mission was to create a food business that dishes up the food you adore, with the same delicious taste you love, made with nothing but healthy ingredients.

But how do you convince your customers to take that first delicious bite?

Our role was to develop a brand, retail environment, packaging and digital experience that would bring to life the magic of Saucery.

Strategy:

From day one, our aim with Saucery’s branding was to break through the bland clutter of health food marketing by bringing something disruptively fresh. We wanted an energising take on health food marketing that is unseen in the industry.

The first challenge was the name. How can you eat a hamburger and chips…that are actually good for you?

It’s Saucery.

This cheeky play on words beautifully encapsulates the enchanting magic of the brand.

The next challenge was creating a brand identity that would truly cut through the sea of sameness within health food marketing. Our mantra? No earthy tones, no hessian backgrounds, no ‘health’ signalling at all, just attention-grabbing creative that does our food justice.

Success:

Saucery’s February 2021 debut onto the food scene manifested in the form of a dedicated Malvern store, online ordering system, and on-demand delivery services. Since launching, the menu has been utterly embraced, despite lockdowns in Melbourne getting in our grill.

Needless to say, our successful launch has set Saucery in good stead to appear in retail stores and on supermarkets shelves very soon.

Healthy food, fast?
It must be some kind of Saucery.
